    awesome Bluetooth speaker

    . I originally purchased the sol republic punk from Sams club and had it installed inside my tool box at work cause it bolts to anything with a standard 1/4" bolt. But I upgraded my toolbox so I needed another, connected to my phone blasting pandora all day.

    Mediocre

    I just thought it would be louder, i use it with my LG pad 8 tablet and its barely louder than the tablet speakers. My older altec Lansing IML227 were better, plus it was one cable that gave it the audio and power. I thought the sol was an usb audio speaker. Oh well..

    Nothing "Punk" about it!!!

    It is really sad that SOL Republic went out of business. The "Punk" and their larger speaker are the best outside and office desk systems you can ask for...AND they are affordable. My ONLY criticism is the PUNK is not something you can just repair. If the battery wasn't charging or needed replacing...the whole unit has to be sent in...and they no longer exist.
